She was also a semi-finalist in the Lotte Lenya Competition in 2016 and a finalist in the NATS National Musical Theater Competition in 2019. Cassi maintains a robust private voice studio based in NYC, with additional virtual students from all over the country. Her students have performed in Broadway national tours, cruise ships, regional theatre, and have also released studio albums, singing original music in venues throughout NY. She presented at the Vocal Pedagogy Professional Workshop in 2022 on finding sustainability and authenticity in pop/rock singing alongside Dr. Jessye DeSilva. There, Cassi was able to share her knowledge and expertise with other voice teachers from all over the world. Additionally, she has spent time teaching voice at The Fund for College Auditions and at Boston Conservatory at Berklee for their Musical Theater Dance Intensive. She served as a teaching assistant to Christine Adaire, Designated Master Linklater Voice Teacher, in teaching Linklater: Voice and Speech to MFA students at Boston Conservatory. Cassi also has expertise in training rough vocal effects, the topic on which she wrote her graduate thesis.
